Knitting in 2 or 3 colour patterns is possible because it prevents the wool yarns from intertwining with each other during knitting. To do this, simply pass the main yarn through the orange slider and hold the decorative yarns on the loops at the top. The slider makes it easier to position the main yarn for knitting: if the main yarn is not needed, it can simply be pushed behind the others.
