Drops Alpaca Bouclé

Drops Alpaca Bouclé is a very nice and soft alpaca wool yarn. The fibers are untreated: this means that they are only washed and are not subjected to any chemical treatment before coloring. In this way, the natural properties of the fiber are maximized, while ensuring a better shape and quality of the fabric. Bouclé is the French word for ring and refers to the many small rings of pure alpaca that give the ball its characteristic appearance. Spun from 2 ply, its heart is a blend of wool and nylon that makes the yarn resistant; the combination of alpaca and bouclé makes the yarn very soft, resistant to use and wonderful in appearance. Garments made with DROPS Alpaca Bouclé are soft and fluffy. DROPS Alpaca Bouclé is also available in some mix colors: this means that the wool is produced by carding the colors together before spinning to achieve the mix effect. Made in Peru.
