The package contains inside three circular needle protectors consisting of an aluminum tube and a rubber cap.
These accessories were created out of the need to protect especially wooden tips in the smaller sizes. Protecting them from accidental impacts that would risk breaking the tip or breaking at the point of union with the cable.
They are used by inserting the pair of iron tips first through the split in the cap and then inside the tube. This way the cable will remain on the outside while your tips will be safe.
