75% wool mulesing free with clorofree treatment, 25% nylon; 100g / ca 420m; A- sport
Paint Gradient Sock from Laines du Nord is the new yarn with the perfect composition for making warm, original and durable socks. The hand-dyed effect is enhanced by small colour nuances reminiscent of small impressionist brush strokes, thus creating a pair of identical socks with a pictorial flair. Paint Gradient Sock is also ideal for stoles and shawls. Available in many delicate and warm colours, with a 100 g ball of yarn (approximately 420 meters of yarn) you can make a pair of socks
The Paint Gradient Sock yarn, Made in Italy, is composed of mulesing free and chlorine free merino wool, in accordance with environmental protection standards, and 25% nylon for added strength.
This yarn is designed to make two perfectly identical socks (up to size 46) using just one ball. This extraordinary result is made possible by the special Perfect Cycle printing, an advanced dyeing technique that organises colours in sequence to automatically reproduce the same pattern and motif on both socks.
Inside the ball of yarn, there is a short section of neutral colour, which acts as a marker for the middle of the ball. When you reach it, simply cut it off and discard it: this will be the starting point for the second sock, beginning at exactly the same point in the colour cycle as the first. This way, you will always get a pair of matching, symmetrical socks without any effort.
*Don't forget that the display of colours may vary from one screen to another and also the shades may vary from one colour bath (Lot) to another (check on the yarn band).
